Taxes

Manage property taxes, tax documents, and payments.

For mortgage loans, a 1098 statement captures all interest, taxes, and mortgage insurance premiums paid in each calendar year.

We mail 1098s by January 31 each year. If you elect paperless delivery in your online account, you’ll receive the electronic version within that same timeframe.

If your mortgage has an escrow account, we obtain tax bill information from your taxing authority and pay the taxes on your behalf.

If your mortgage does not have an escrow account, you’re responsible for paying property taxes directly to the taxing authority. In that case, you don’t need to send tax bills to us.

A supplemental tax bill (also called an added assessment, interim bill, or corrected bill) is a one-time bill sent by the taxing authority. It results from a mid-year assessment change to your property.

No. Supplemental bills are one-time charges sent directly to you. Because they are not recurring, they’re not included in escrow payments or paid from your escrow account.

Please send the delinquent tax bill using one of the following options:

Email:

taxes@youarehome.com

Fax:

866.930.1019

Mail:

CrossCountry Mortgage powered by RoundPoint
Attn: Escrow Department
PO Box 19409
Charlotte, NC 28219-9409

Once we receive the delinquent bill, we’ll review and take the necessary steps on your behalf to resolve it.
